Youth Team End of Season Manager’s Report

As the season comes to an end, I’d like to thank everyone involved.

Players – We’ve had a young squad this year who have worked hard to learn and develop, which will stand them in good stead for the years ahead in midweek football. We all know the high standard at this level.

To the few second-year players we had – you’ve led by example and never given up. I wish you all the very best in whatever you go on to do next.

Parents/Grandparents – Thank you for your continued support. It means a lot to me, the management team, and the players.

The Club – Thank you for your ongoing support of the midweek team. Also, a big thanks to all managers who continue to develop players at U16 level and give them the opportunity to progress into U18 midweek football and take on a higher challenge.

Northants Senior Youth League – A great league that is well organised, understanding, and always there to help if needed.

And finally, a big thank you to my management team – Dave, Mark and Adam. What a great group. I couldn’t do it without you. You’re always there not just for me, but for the boys as well, which I really appreciate.

As the season closes, I hope everyone has enjoyed it. I always enjoy seeing players develop – win, lose or draw, there’s always something to take from each game.
